Welcome to Dear Scrapbook (https://www.dearscrapbook.com). By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
1. The service
Dear Scrapbook lets you create online scrapbooks with photos, videos, notes and decorations. Your scrapbooks are private to your account.
2. Accounts & security
- You must provide a valid email address and verify it to activate your account.
- Logins are protected by two-factor authentication via email codes.
- You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity on your account.
- You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) to use the service.
- By registering, you agree that we may contact you at your registered email address for account, security, billing and service-related communications, and for occasional updates about Dear Scrapbook. You can opt out of non-essential updates anytime via support@dearscrapbook.com.
3. Free plan & content retention
- Free accounts may keep 1 scrapbook.
- Scrapbooks on the free plan are automatically and permanently deleted 14 days after creation: they expire after 10 days, followed by a 4-day grace window during which upgrading to Premium revives them.
- Deleted content cannot be recovered. Please download anything you want to keep.
4. Paid plans
- Premium: $5.99/month — 3 scrapbooks with no expiry (ads shown).
- Ad-Free add-on: $4.99/month, or $3.99/month for Premium members.
- Lifetime: $34.99 one-time — 5 scrapbooks with no expiry and no ads, permanently.
- Payments are processed by PayPal. Use the same email address as your Dear Scrapbook account so your purchase can be linked automatically. Subscriptions renew monthly and can be cancelled anytime from your PayPal account; benefits last until the end of the paid period.
- If a Premium subscription lapses, its scrapbooks return to the free-plan retention rules described above.
- Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. Contact support@dearscrapbook.com with any billing issue.
5. Uploads & acceptable use
- Upload limits by plan — free: 1 MB per image, 5 MB per video, 25 MB per scrapbook; paid: 5 MB per image, 50 MB per video, 250 MB per scrapbook.
- Only upload content you own or have the right to use.
- No unlawful, infringing, hateful, or sexually explicit content involving minors; no malware; no attempts to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the service.
- We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these rules.
6. Advertising
Free and Premium plans display banner advertising, which funds the service. The Ad-Free add-on and Lifetime plan remove ads.
7. Your content
You keep all rights to what you upload. You grant us only the limited license needed to store, process and display your content back to you as part of the service.
8. Deleting your account
You can delete your account any time from your account settings. Deletion has a 24-hour grace period: your account is disabled immediately, and if you do nothing it is permanently deleted after 24 hours — your scrapbooks, media, profile and details are erased and cannot be recovered, and any active subscription is cancelled so it will not renew after the current billing cycle. If you change your mind, simply log back in within 24 hours to cancel the deletion and restore your account. We may also suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms. 9. Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” without warranties. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Always keep your own copies of irreplaceable photos and videos.
10. Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be announced on the site or by email. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
